Subject Description

Social Studies uses aspects of Psychology and Sociology to investigate how individual personalities can influence the value structure of whole countries and how this can influence millions of people across many years. It is a very relevant subject today as most jobs involve dealing with people and require skills that are highly sought after by employers. 

Areas of interest include Commerce, Health Services, Law and Criminal Justice and Social Work. Social Studies may lead to university subjects such as Psychology, Sociology, Media and Communications, Political Science and Education.
