Level 2 Visual Arts (2ART)
Subject Description

This programme provides students the ability to experiment with short projects in Printmaking and Sculpture. They will develop skills in Sculpture (constructing their whenua); and Printmaking (people and nature). This leads students to create a body of artworks in their selected fields of Sculpture, Painting OR Printmaking that explore individual identity and personal interests. The programme supports students who would like to venture into the Creative Industries including undertaking any Level 3 Visual Arts fields. Each student will be assessed in approximately 20 credits from the menu of standards available.
Preferred Prior Learning
10ART and/or 1ART.
