Primary industries and the associated Agri-businesses that are of considerable importance to New Zealand’s economy include Agriculture, Forestry, Horticulture and Seafood. Agri-Business relates to the business model that makes this industry such a success in New Zealand. This course is aimed at students with a keen interest in exploring careers in these areas or for students looking for a subject to complement studies in the Biological Sciences or Economics, then Animal and Plant Science will make an excellent choice.
