Level 2 Economics explores the impact of current economic issues affecting New Zealand and develops students’ understanding of the impact of government policies that may be implemented to address such issues. Students use economic models to assess and explain the impact of these issues on the markets and on the well-being of society.
Economics is a important subject for student intending to study commerce or management degrees at tertiary level.
