This is a course of study which provides students with an opportunity to develop practical skills and knowledge that enables them to generate designs, investigate and select appropriate resources and create outcomes using textiles. It is based on a project approach involving research, designing, making and evaluating using textiles. Projects to be undertaken are: Formal Garment, Pants Pattern, Fit for Purpose (own choice).
Preferred Prior Learning
Achievement in Level 1 or 2 Textiles Technology would be an advantage for taking a Level 3 course, otherwise entry should be in negotiation with the Teacher in charge.
