Subject Description

Teacher in Charge: Ms B. Wright, Ms K. Grieve.

This programme provides a foundation for those students interested in Photography, 2D Print Design OR Character Illustration. Two-dimensional Print Design will include typography, logo, double page magazine spread, poster and website graphic design while Character Illustration will include graphic novel, poster, to illustrate a narrative or campaign. Students will develop a range of skills using the Adobe Creative Suite software - Photoshop and Illustrator. These skills are transferable to a range of Vocational Pathways in the Creative Industries including other Visual Arts programmes. Students can only take 1ART or 1DVA.
